Fresh Fruit Salad

Fresh fruit is an excellent way to start or end a meal because it acts as a great palate cleanser. A tip to making excellent fruit salad is to cut all your fruit into small, roughly same size pieces so that you get a mouthful of flavor in each bite. Feel free to substitute any of the fruit in this recipe with what is seasonal and available to you. After all, that is what makes the best fruit salad!
Ingredients Method
Fresh strawberries (16 oz), washed, patted dry, stemmed & chopped
2 pears, cored & cubed
1 mango, peeled, pitted & cubed
2 kiwis, peeled & chopped
1 handful of fresh mint leaves, roughly chopped
Juice of one lemon
Combine chopped fruit in a large bowl. Mix in lemon juice and fresh mint leaves.
*Option to add 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier or Cointreau
